Best Western International has signed a new
hotel in Indonesia.
Located in the bustling business hub of Tangerang in
the Greater Jakarta area and set to open in the fourth quarter of
2013, the Best Western Serpong will have 96 rooms, including 12 suites, with
in-room amenities that will include a flat-screen LCD TV with satellite
channels, free Wi-Fi, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities
and a private balcony.
Facilities at the seven-storey property will
include a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool and two F&B outlets – the Lotus Restaurant and Edelweiss Bar &
Lounge.
The Best Western Serpong will be Best Western
International's second hotel in the Greater Jakarta area, joining
the Best Western Mangga Dua Hotel & Residence.
The company plans to add at least seven more
properties in the Greater Jakarta area by 2015. Overall, its
Indonesian portfolio is expected to increase from five hotels to
close to 25 hotels in the coming years.
“We are currently undertaking an unprecedented
period of expansion in Indonesia, which will see us more than
quadruple our collection of hotels in the country over the next
few years," said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice
President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East.
