ARINC has been awarded a contract to provide systems integration for the new Terminal 2 at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), located in Hanoi, Vietnam.

ARINC was selected as the subcontractor for this project by the Taisei-Vinaconex Joint Venture (TVJV), the company overseeing the construction of the new Terminal.

ARINC will be deploying its industry-leading Common Use Passenger Processing System-compliant vMUSE workstations at Terminal 2, together with SelfServ Common Use Self Service kiosks, VeriPax Passenger Reconciliation System and Flight Information Displays to support the check-in applications of Noi Bai’s airlines with the latest passenger processing systems and technologies.

“Noi Bai International Airport is one of the largest airports in Vietnam. In anticipation of its continued growth and economic development, we need passenger handling systems to be both robust and reliable,” said Yoshiaki Takimoto, the spokesperson for TVJV. “We are confident of ARINC’s expertise and track record in passenger processing technologies and in fulfilling our requirements for operational efficiency at the new terminal.”

Michael DiGeorge, Managing Director of ARINC’s Asia Pacific said, “ARINC would like to acknowledge the US Commercial Services organization for its assistance. As the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, its involvement in arranging meetings with key stakeholders responsible for aviation development as well as the Ministry of Transportation was vital in helping ARINC understand the Vietnam market better and to facilitate our work there.”
