Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 43rd
aircraft. Acquired brand-new from the Airbus facility in Hamburg,
Germany,
Cebu Pacifics 43rd aircraft is the 2nd Airbus A320 aircraft in
the Philippines equipped with
Sharklets, a new fuel-saving wing tip device.
The airline now operates
25 Airbus A320 and 10 A319 aircraft, as well as 8 ATR 72-500
aircraft.
With this fleet, Cebu Pacific will mount an
additional daily flight from Manila to Hong Kong from 20 to
30 March 2013. There will also be an additional flight from Manila to Legazpi
between 27-28 March, as well as an additional flight from
Manila to Naga on 28 and 30 March 2013. Travelers bound
for Puerto Princesa from Manila can also book seats on Cebu
Pacifics
additional flight on 29 March 2013.
Cebu Pacific operates one of the most extensive
networks in the Philippines with 34 domestic destinations and hubs
in Manila, Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, Kalibo and Davao. It offers 21
international destinations, namely Bangkok, Bali, Beijing, Brunei, Busan, Dubai, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Incheon
(Seoul), Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Osaka,
Shanghai, Siem Reap, Singapore, Taipei and Xiamen.
Between 2013 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 51 more
aircraft: 17 Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo and 4 A330-300
aircraft orders.
