This year’s “Great Outdoors Hong Kong”
promotional period has been extended from five weeks to about
three and a half months to encourage more visitors to enjoy Hong
Kong’s alluring natural attractions.
From now until 21 February
2014, ten guided tours along six themed hiking trails will be
available for visitors on various Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition, the HKTB has published a brand new
“Great Outdoors Hong Kong” activity guide, which features various
hiking trails, cycling tracks and outlying islands in Hong Kong,
and offers information on guided tours organised by the travel trade, allowing free independent travellers to fit green tours
easily into their itineraries.
The activity guide will be
available at major ports-of-entry and HKTB visitor centres, and
from hotel concierges during the “Great Outdoors Hong Kong”
promotional period.
Local residents can sign up for hiking
tours organised by the AFCD. Each tour is for a maximum of 1,000
persons, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
