Thailand’s IMPACT Launches Android App

IMPACT has launched an Event Calendar Application for Android and expects to see a total of 200,000 users from two major Smartphone platforms by the end of 2013.

The application, which now can be downloaded from Play Store, adds more functions to facilitate online users who seek events and promotions.

IMPACT has been offering the Event Calendar Application on IOS for iPhone users since early 2012 and has had over 80,000 downloads. The new Android app allows users to search for calendar events including exhibitions, consumer or trade events, conferences, concerts, or other activities at IMPACT Exhibition Centre.

“This tool is not only useful for communicating with event visitors, it is also a marketing channel which we can conduct activities to draw more fans and business partners. Through the application, users can find promotions or exclusive offers from IMPACT restaurant outlets and shops within IMPACT,” said Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management.

IMPACT Event Calendar Application interface displays events by list or calendar format. Schedules and details of each event can be shown in both Thai and English languages. Links to the official event page or the event organizer’s website are also provided. For those who are fans of concerts at IMPACT Arena, there are also links to the online ticket booking sites. In addition, there is a function to share event details on your Facebook wall or interact with IMPACT through IMPACT’s Facebook fan page.
