Korean Air unveiled its third SkyTeam livery
aircraft earlier this week.
Korean Airs third SkyTeam livery
aircraft that presented itself is a Boeing 737-800.
The newly
wrapped aircraft with a configuration of 149 seats will operate
short-haul routes including China, Japan and South East Asia.
The delicate design includes features such as the
dark blue SkyTeam logo on the tail fin and the SkyTeam name in
large, dark blue letters along the front side of the fuselage.
The first aircraft wrapped in SkyTeam colors, a
Boeing 777-200 with a configuration of 260 seats, began its operation in
2009 and the second aircraft, a Boeing 737-800 in 2011.
By operating three SkyTeam livered aircraft, the airline will now
expose the alliances exclusive colors and identity to more
customers around the world.
Korean Air is a
founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, which together with its
18 members, offers its 537 million annual passengers a worldwide
system of more than 15,000 daily flights covering 993 destinations
in 186 countries.
