United Airlines has launched daily nonstop
flights between Washington and Dublin Airport.
United will operate the service using
Boeing 757-200 aircraft featuring 169 seats – 16 flat-bed seats in
United BusinessFirst and 153 in United Economy, including 45
Economy Plus seats with added legroom and increased personal
space.
“United’s
new nonstop service from Washington to Dublin is a significant
development in helping draw people in Ireland and the United
States closer together, whether for business, leisure travel or
both,” said Ambassador of Ireland to the United States, H.E.
Michael Collins. “I wish United every success
with the new route and I know that Ireland looks forward to
extending a hearty ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ – 100,000 Welcomes – to all
our visitors from the United States.”
United offers
customers nearly 300 flights from Washington Dulles and serves
more than 30 international airports, including those in Europe,
Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean.
In May,
United launched flights from Washington Dulles to Doha, Qatar
and Manchester in England. The airline also launched daily nonstop
