Pegasus Solutions has named chief web officer,
David Millili, as chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Millili succeeds Mike Kistner, who is
leaving the company.
“We are pleased to welcome David as the new
leader of Pegasus Solutions, and look forward to the impact his
fresh perspective on the hospitality business will bring to this
role,” said James L. Fox, chairman of the Board of Directors for Pegasus Solutions. “David has rolled up his sleeves to drive
innovation and results for our hotel clients since coming to Pegasus when we acquired Open Hospitality, a hospitality web
services company he founded and built through his fortitude, hands-on experience and dedication.”
Previously,
Millili served in dual roles as chief web officer of Pegasus
Solutions and chief executive officer of Open Hospitality, a
division of Pegasus. With more than 20 years of hospitality
experience, Millili maintains a practical understanding of all aspects of hotel operations and management, based in part on his
time as a hotel general manager.
“I am both honored
and eager to serve Pegasus Solutions and its clients as CEO,”
added Millili. “This company has been providing innovative
solutions that make doing business for hotels easier and more
effective for nearly 25 years. The promise that new markets and
channels bring – from mobile and social media to China and India –
offer us the opportunity to continue in our foundational role
facilitating the business of marketing and selling hotels.”
Millili will be based in Pegasus’ Open Hospitality New
York office.
