Grossmann Jet Service, the Prague-based
executive jet operator, recently concluded Six Sigma
certification, following attendance of training courses in London
and Prague.
The structure of Six Sigma provides a highly
disciplined method of training that enables organisations to focus
on developing and delivering near-perfect products and services.
The word ‘Sigma’ is a statistical term measuring how far a given
process deviates from perfection. The key ideology behind Six
Sigma is that if the number of ‘defects’ in a process can be
measured, they can systematically be eliminated to get as close to
‘zero defects’ as possible.
“We are delighted to have achieved Six Sigma
certification,” said CEO Dagmar Grossmann. “In an industry where
safety processes are essential, Six Sigma is a valuable asset. Our
business is essentially about time saving and utilising the Six
Sigma method enables us to work to our maximum potential, for
ourselves and importantly for our clients.”
Grossmann Jet operates an Embraer Legacy 600 and
Hawker 900 XP, affording passengers the utmost privacy and comfort
that comes with VIP catering and state-of-the-art inflight
technology including DVD players, satellite phones, Internet
access, iPod outlets and iPads.
