More than 400 competitors and participants from
over 10 countries with some of the best names in the sport
including Arizona Airspeed - USA national team and world
champions, and Nexus from Dubai will compete at the inaugural iFly
Singapore Indoor Skydiving World Championships from 14 to 16
December 2012.
Be wowed by the array of commanding and dazzling
performances as the World Championships promises to be an
eye-opener and spectacle.
Guests will also be able to catch local
stars - Team Firefly, girls aged 10 and 11 years old, who will
represent Singapore and compete against the other professionals
for cash and prizes worth up to Sin$150,000.
During the iFly Singapore Indoor Skydiving World
Championships, iFly Singapore will also attempt to set and break
several Guinness World Records. These include:
- Most number of people flying at one time -
Most backwards somersaults achieved in a wind tunnel in one minute
- Longest indoor freefall flight achieved in wind tunnel
The event will take place 14, 15 and 16 December
2012, from 10am to 6pm. Admission costs Sin$20 for indoor
viewing gallery (includes 1 SkyLoft drink worth Sin$16.50), and is free for
outdoor viewing gallery.
