Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Asia Pacific has
appointed Mr Marc Landgraf as General Manager of the Phi Phi

His 17-year hospitality industry experience
includes senior roles in resorts in the Dominican Republic,
serviced apartments in Brussels and with Sodexho Catering and
Services in Luxembourg and France.
Landgraf, a French national, has a degree in
International Hospitality Management from the Hotel Management
School in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also fluent in German,
Spanish and English. Rugby is a passion. He played for the
Luxembourg national team for five years and in the Belgian 1st

"Marc's key strengths are implementing standard
operating procedures, cost control, team building and motivating
personnel," said Darren Edmonstone, Managing Director for
Outrigger in the Asia Pacific region. "Marc will take the current
product and service offering at the Phi Phi Island property and
work with the team there to elevate it to Outrigger's
international standards."
The existing beachfront bungalows of the resort are currently
being upgraded and 38 new Deluxe Garden Bungalows are scheduled to
be
ready by November 2012.
Restaurant outlets are also being improved
and a new gym being installed.
