MSpa International Appoints Lee Stephens as General Manager

MSpa International has appointed Lee Stephens as General Manager.

A respected spa and beauty industry leader with 19 years experience to his credit, Mr. Lee will lead MSpa’s continued growth in the region and beyond.

Lee, who is British born, has been based in Asia for nine years and has held a number of key roles within the industry.

Most recently he was Managing Director of Sol Spa Services, his own successful spa consultancy in Hong Kong. Prior to establishing Sol Spa Services in 2009, Lee oversaw the operations and business development of some of the most recognised spas and skin care centres in Hong Kong and was instrumental in the growth of the spa division for the Paua Group.

Joining Paua in 2003, Lee took on the role of Director of the group’s collective spas in Hong Kong, which included the Elemis Day Spa, The Beautiful Skin Centre, and the Victorian Spa at the Disneyland Hotel.

Before his arrival in Hong Kong, Lee travelled the globe working with leading luxury hotels and cruise lines including Cunard, Royal Viking, Holland America Line, Celebrity and Crystal as well as the Spa at Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Originating in Thailand in 1999, MSpa International is the spa division of Minor Hotel Group and currently operates the following brands: Anantara Spa, Mandara Spa, Aequalis Spa, AVANI Spa and the Individually Tailored Spa Collection.

MSpa International has a portfolio of 40 spas across Asia, China, India and the Indian Ocean, the Middle East and Africa, and continues to expand to international acclaim.
