[HD video below] Qatar Executive is showcasing its Bombardier
Challenger 605 at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo between 6-8 March 2012.
The three-day event takes place at Al
Bateen Executive Airport – one of the first dedicated business jet
airports in the Middle East and North Africa.
The aircraft on display will give visitors the opportunity to see
the luxurious interiors of its popular jet, which features one of the
widest stand-up cabins of any business aircraft in this category
available today.
Covering business jets, helicopters, and related
services, the Abu Dhabi Air Expo is expected to draw over 10,000
visitors and major aviation players from across the Gulf region,
Levant, North Africa and, as far afield as Asia and South Africa.
The Bombardier Challenger 605 on static display is part of
Qatar Executive’s wholly-owned Bombardier fleet of six long-range business jets.
With its reclining leather ergonomics
armchairs, a berthable divan, a four-seat conference table in the
rear and numerous outlets for laptops, the Challenger 605 has huge
appeal among business and leisure travellers alike.
The
ultra-long business jet has 11 seats and can whisk passengers from
Abu Dhabi to Singapore or from Abu Dhabi to London non-stop. Its
spacious baggage compartment, accessible from the cabin, offers
plenty of room for personal belongings.
The aircraft is
equipped with a state-of-the-art entertainment system, featuring
21 inch large LCD monitors, as well as internet and satellite
communications service for an efficient and comfortable work
environment.
Apart from the three Challenger 605s, Qatar
Executive also operates two Global 5000s and a Global Express XRS.
Qatar Airways Chief Executive
Officer,
Akbar Al Baker, said, “We are proud to showcase our
Challenger 605 at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo, giving prospective
clients a glimpse of what to expect when they fly onboard a Qatar
Executive jet. Besides enjoying the highest standards in service
excellence, comfort and convenience, our guests will travel
onboard the youngest fleet of business aircraft in the Gulf.”
Besides the obvious luxury, the Qatar Executive
à la carte service for passengers includes the convenience of
booking an aircraft in as little as four hours before departure,
access to premium airport lounges, and check-in 10 minutes prior
to take off.
At last month’s Singapore Airshow Qatar Executive
showcased another of its luxury jets, the Qatar Executive Global
5000 Business Jet, see the video below.
