New 101 Hotel Breaks Ground in Yogyakarta

PT. Gajah Mas Perkasa, in cooperation with PHM Hospitality, has held a ground breaking ceremony of The 1O1 Hotel Mangkubumi – Yogyakarta.

The 3-star The 1O1 Hotel Mangkubumi – Yogyakarta will be located on Mangkubumi road, close to the city center of Yogyakarta, Malioboro. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the end of 2013.

The hotel will have 154 rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant and lounge as well as a gym and small spa.

Mr. Kristian Kuntadi, Managing Director of PHM Hospitality said, “We are honored being appointed by PT. Gajah Mas Perkasa to operate their hotel in Mangkubumi, Yogyakarta and put The 1O1 brand as its hotel brand. This brand will be suitable for Yogyakarta needs to accommodate the growing middle class market who travelling to Yogyakarta, either for business or leisure. As the brand is a pioneer for chic & trendy life style, we believe The 1O1 Mangkubumi – Yogyakarta will be a booster to uplift Yogyakarta tourism become more attractive and sexy.”
