Philippine Airlines will launch flights to Bali
on 28 April 2012, re-establishing direct air links between Manila
and Indonesia’s prime holiday destination.
“With the new service, passengers can look
forward to experiencing full-service, hassle-free trip to Bali for
their vacation,” said PAL President Jaime J. Bautista.
The new Bali service, utilizing a two-class
Airbus A320 aircraft, will operate twice weekly, departing Manila
every Wednesday and Saturday at 21:45 arriving in Denpasar
International Airport at 01:25 the following day.
The return flight, PR 538, departs Denpasar on
Thursday and Sunday at 02:25 to arrive in Manila at 06:10.
To mark the launch of the Bali flights, PAL is
offering a promo fare of only US$188 for round-trip, economy
tickets. Business class tickets have also been slashed to US$988.
The promo fares are exclusive of government taxes, fees and
surcharges. The discounted tickets are on sale from until 30 April
2012 and may be used from 28 April to 30 September 2012. Terms and
conditions apply.
Bali is PAL’s second destination in Indonesia,
following Jakarta, the country's capital, where the flag carrier
flies five times a week direct from Manila and four times a week
via Singapore.
Bali will become PAL's 26th destination in its
international route network. PAL flies to 20 domestic stations
using an all-jet fleet. PAL is the only domestic airline offering
business class service.
