Australian national, Ned Capeleris, has been
appointed as the new hotel manager at the beachfront, 245-room
Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa.
In his new capacity, Mr. Capeleris is
responsible for all matters pertaining to hotel operations and
will act in conjunction with the guidance team as a key support
member for the luxury resort.
Before his move to Bahrain, Ned Capeleris was
holding the position as executive assistant manager rooms at The
Ritz-Carlton, Doha where he played an instrumental role in
ensuring the implementation of the rooms division basics and its
standard operating procedures to further improve service standards
and to enhance the guest experience.
In 1995, Mr.
Capeleris obtained an advance certificate in hospitality
management, finishing with distinction, where he then went onto completing a diploma in hospitality management from Ryde College
of TAFE/NSW Australia, graduating in 1997 also with distinction.
Mr. Capeleris started his hotel career with the Hyatt
Regency in Sydney, Australia, in 1995. He moved from being
concierge agent to front desk agent, night auditor and night
manager all in the period of 3 years. In 1998, Mr. Capeleris
joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Sydney where he was assigned
night manager. At the same property he assumed roles as club
lounge manager, guest services manager and front office manager.
In a significant move for his career, Mr,
Capeleris traveled to the USA in the summer of 2000 to take up the
position of assistant director of housekeeping and laundry with
The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, California.
Mr. Capeleris’ passionate desire for his career
advancement saw him scaling the ladder of success to assume the
position of director of housekeeping and laundry in The
Ritz-Carlton, Dubai in 2003. He transferred to The Ritz-Carlton,
Doha as assistant director of rooms division in 2005 where he was
responsible for coordinating 295 employees, 374 rooms with 7 large
banquet facilities. After one year of service, Mr. Capeleris was promoted to director of rooms division in 2006 and
shortly after to executive assistant manager – rooms division.
The beachfront Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa
