From 1 July until 30 September 2012, visitors
who purchase MTR Tourist Tickets in Hong Kong will be able to
enjoy a whole array of special offers put together to celebrate
the 35th Anniversary of Ocean Park.
These offers include instant discounts of up to
65% off daytime admission tickets to the Park.
“MTR and Ocean Park are high on the to-do-list
for tourists to our city. To help Ocean Park celebrate its special
birthday this year, we thought what better way than to issue a
special edition MTR Tourist Ticket to offer great value for
visitors to Hong Kong and make their stay even more enjoyable,”
said Mr Jay Walder, Chief Executive Officer of MTR Corporation.
Mr Tom Mehrmann, Chief Executive of Ocean
Park, added, “We are delighted to work with MTR on this joint
promotion campaign. While MTR connects and grows communities with
its environmentally friendly service, Ocean Park connects people
with nature, making this an especially meaningful collaboration
between our two Hong Kong brands. As we celebrate the Park’s 35th
anniversary this year, guests will have a chance to visit the many
new attractions we have introduced including Old Hong Kong, the
Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures where our golden monkey
and the world’s oldest female giant panda Jia Jia reside, as well
as Polar Adventure, a major new attraction area opening in
mid-July.”
The MTR Tourist Tickets will feature members of
the Ocean Park Mascot family including Whiskers, Swift and Tux, as
well as popular residents of Ocean Park including the sea lion and
giant panda.
Apart from the instant discount offer, each purchaser
of an MTR Tourist Ticket will also receive:
1. A Buy 1 get 1
free coupon for skill games; 2. A Buy 1 get 1 free coupon for
key chains; and 3. A HK$10 cash coupon for Ocean Park food
kiosks.
The same offers also apply for purchase of the Airport
Express Travel Pass during the promotion period. Terms and
conditions apply.
