Best Western and Makati City’s Antel Hotel have celebrated two milestones - the launching of the brand new Serenity Tower and the hotel’s rebranding as the first ever Best Western Plus in the Philippines.

The revamped hotel now offers three towers - A. Venue, Antel Spa and Serenity - with a total of 210 suites.

The hotel also features two restaurants - Azzurro Bistro & Bar offering Mediterranean cuisine and Taberna Barcelona offering a modern Spanish menu - plus three lounges, eight function rooms, two swimming pools, a pool bar, two fitness centers, two business centers, two children’s playgrounds and a Toccare Spa.

“Being awarded the ‘Plus’ status entails a lot of responsibility. Hand-in-hand with the Best Western International, we are committed to giving much more in all aspects of the hospitality business - an enhanced level of service, greater comfort in a modern cozy setting and an array of plush amenities, all combined to provide a truly remarkable upscale experience,” said Ms. Jen Wong, Vice President for Operations of Antel Land Holdings, Inc.

Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East, said, “With over 210 hotels and more than 32,000 rooms in operation, rebranding, and under construction across Asia and the Middle East, Best Western is committed to this region’s hospitality and tourism industry. And we are planning to double our portfolio in the Philippines over the next 14 months, from six to 12 hotels.”

Ms. Yvonne D. Villacorte is General Manager of Best Western Plus Antel Hotel.
