Japan Airlines is to codeshare with NIKI
Luftfahrt GmbH (NIKI) - a subsidiary of fellow oneworld alliance
member airberlin.
Starting from 1 July 2012, JAL's flight
indicator will be placed on NIKI's six-weekly service connecting
Frankfurt and Vienna International Airport.
Reservations and sales
for the codeshare flight started yesterday, 27 June 2012.
Founded in 2003, NIKI an airline based in
Vienna, operates flights throughout
Europe with a fleet of more than 20 Airbus and Embraer aircraft.
The latest arrangement with NIKI further strengthens JAL's
codeshare partnership with the airberlin Group which started in
February this year.
Via its daily service between Tokyo and
Frankfurt, JAL is now able to offer customers even more options
for their travel to Europe using codeshare flights between the
German city and Vienna with NIKI, Berlin with airberlin, Helsinki
with Finnair and Madrid with Iberia.
