Wyndham Rewards, one of the world’s largest
lodging loyalty programs with almost 7,000 participating hotels,
is expanding into countries throughout the Middle East and Asia
Pacific.
The expansion of the program is part of Wyndham
Rewards’ strategy to provide its members with earning and
redemption options in all 66 countries where Wyndham Hotel Group
properties are located. The program is currently available in 50
countries.
Wyndham Rewards most recently launched the
program in the Philippines, India and Sri Lanka at 30 properties
associated with the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Dream, Ramada, Microtel Inn & Suites
by Wyndham
and Days Inn
brands.
The program was already available in China and Thailand.
In the Middle East, home to some of Wyndham Hotel Group’s
most luxurious hotels, Wyndham Rewards is now available in Saudi
Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Oman.
In addition to an expanded portfolio of participating hotels,
Wyndham Rewards has developed new ways for members
to earn and redeem points. Not only has the program added new
airline partnerships with Saudi Arabian Airlines, Turkish
Airlines, and Jet Airways in India, but it launched a new global
rewards catalog, allowing members in all countries where the
program is available to redeem points for items that are locally
relevant.
“With the growth of our program in the Middle
East and Asia Pacific, we are providing members with more ways to
earn points and more ways to get rewarded for staying with Wyndham
Hotel Group properties,” said Robin Korman, senior vice president
of Loyalty Marketing and Strategic Partnerships. “We will continue
to build partnerships that offer our members more redemption
options with vendors they know and trust.”
The program is
set to roll out in Australia, New Zealand and throughout Latin
America by the end of the year.
