Sustainable Luxury Hospitality Thailand, a
subsidiary of the new Six Senses Resorts & Spas, has won the Lease
Bid of Six Senses Yao Noi beyond Phuket, after the
acquisition by Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P..
“The appointment of Six Senses Resorts & Spas as
the lessee will be beneficial for the stability, the seamless flow
of operations and the continuous success of this iconic property,”
said Bernhard Bohnenberger, President of Six Senses. “Moreover, we
will now be supported and backed by a strong parent company in the
form of Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P., which will ensure the long
term growth, recognition and strength of the Six Senses brand and
in turn would positively reflect in the capital appreciation and
return for the unit holders of Luxury Real Estate Investment
Fund.”
Six Senses Yao Noi is located on the Island of
Yao Noi, among the limestone pinnacles of Phang Nga. All 54 villas
create an atmosphere of space, light and boast views of the bay
and surrounding forestation.
Pegasus Capital Advisors acquired the Bangkok-based ultra-luxury resort and
spa management business of Six Senses Resorts & Spas for an
undisclosed sum. Following the terms of the binding agreement
signed in April 2012, Pegasus now holds all of the resort and spa
management contracts and related intellectual property rights of
the Six Senses and Evason branded properties. A new company
managed by Pegasus and its affiliates will operate these newly
acquired assets.
Sustainable Luxury Hospitality (Thailand) is a subsidiary company of the new organizational
structure that is put in place to take over the current operations
and all Six Senses and Evason Management Agreements.
