Anantara has launched a comprehensive E-Learning
programme, creating new career enhancing and development
opportunities for its current and future employees across all its
hotels and regions of operation.
Anantara has partnered with three
well known providers - Skillsoft, Ashridge and E-Cornell, all
known for their excellence in providing educational platforms
within the industry - to support the different phases of its newly
enhanced development programm.
The development programme incorporates different
learning journeys, each supported by E-Learning to provide a
blended learning approach to facilitate the development of high
potential team members. Each learning journey is competency based
including goals on service excellence, key milestones, classroom
activities and graduation at the completion of the journey. Each
participant is allocated their own dedicated coach, who is a
senior within the team or property they work in.
Hotel
General Managers now have the opportunity to participate in
tailor-made E-Learning courses through E-Cornell, with the aim to
improve and fine tune their level of competency requirements to
enable them to maximise their business operations and personal
achievements.
Examples of the E-Learning courses offered to
General Managers through E-Cornell include: Managing Strategic
Change; Creating Value and Competitive Advantage in the
Hospitality Industry; and Creating Service Cultures.
Caroline Stevens, Vice President Human Resources,
said,
“Anantara is growing fast and we need to be able to keep up with
the talent requirements that come hand-in-hand with this. By
adding this new E-Learning capability into our already successful
Associate development programme, we are confident that we are
putting a solid and reliable process in place to help us prepare
and build for Anantara’s future talent requirements, whilst
demonstrating a significant investment in our current and future
Anantara Associates.”
Mark Eletr, General Manager Anantara
Rasananda, commented on his experience participating in the
E-Cornell courses, “I found the courses I have undertaken so far
very useful and also enjoyable. The flow, pace, interaction levels
and the content are all highly useful and the instructors have
been very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the way the topics were presented within the context of our industry, so concepts were
quite easy to grasp and ultimately very strategic to apply. To be
honest, after doing the first course I was looking forward to the
next.”
