Kerzner International, operators of 5-star
resort brands One&Only and Atlantis, is expanding its sales and
marketing presence in Asia with the appointment of Hong Kong and
China-based sales and marketing representatives Infinite Luxury.
Making its debut in China in 2014 with One&Only Sanya
on Hainan Island, Kerzner International is especially targeting
the China market, as the second largest economy in the world with
one of the world’s fastest growing domestic and outbound travel
markets.
By 2015 China is
predicted to become the world’s largest market with 100 million
outbound travelers – more than the total number of tourists
visiting France each year, and nearly double the number of
international travelers to the U.S..
Over 57.39
million Chinese traveled abroad in 2010, a 20.4% increase in
outbound travel, as their spending increased by 91% from
2010-2011. Chinese are also top spenders in France and the UK,
averaging US$7,000 per trip.
Infinite Luxury will focus on
market awareness and positioning of Kerzner’s One&Only, Atlantis
and Mazagan brands, implement and executing sales strategies and
efforts towards high-end leisure business and incentive companies
in primary markets such as China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
