Worldhotels has entered into a strategic partnership to create five branded hotels in the Philippines over the next decade.

The cooperation agreement appoints Global Hospitality Franchise System Inc. to provide consultancy and marketing support to Worldhotels.

Worldhotels is currently on a fast-track to developing its own branded hotel solution. The Worldhotel brand was launched last year in China, with the Worldhotel Grand Juna Wuxi. It extended to India recently with the opening of Worldhotel Turquoise Chandigarh.

“The branded hotel solution offers one of the most flexible models in the world for upscale independent properties and hotel groups. Adopting the Worldhotel brand enables quality independent hotels to position themselves internationally in the face of competition from global hospitality brands,” said Roland Jegge, Worldhotels Vice President Asia Pacific. “As well as bringing significant recognition and exposure, Worldhotels provides additional management and technical support with the help of our partners during construction or renovation, ensuring operations of international standard.”
