Tune Hotels is embarking on a new design and brand, starting with
the very first Tune Hotel, the downtown Kuala Lumpur Tune Hotel.
Mark Lankester, Tune Hotels Group CEO, said, “We
started our journey with the establishment of the first Tune
branded hotel with our downtown Kuala Lumpur hotel back in May
2007.It’s fitting that with the new design and brand, which we’ve
been working on for a number of months now, Tune Hotel Downtown
Kuala Lumpur, is the first of the current portfolio to have itself
refreshed and “made-over” [see video below]. Kuala Lumpur is our base, is renowned
throughout the world as a fun and funky city and recently was
found to be the second best shopping city in Asia Pacific,
according to Global Shopper Index. The new look of the designs
take on an urban contemporary flair, with a clean décor,
emphasizing on the colour elements of red, white and black, which
represent the corporate identity colours of not only Tune Hotels,
but the Tune Group overall. Moving forward over time all the
current Tune Hotels will slip on the new look and all new hotels
in development will likewise have the new design and brand.”
Tune Hotels now has 25 hotels available for
bookings located in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching,
KLIA-LCCT Airport, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Damansara, Bintulu,
Kota Bharu and Kulim in Malaysia; Kuta and Legian in Bali and
Jakarta in Indonesia; Westminster, Liverpool Street, Paddington
and Kings Cross in London in the United Kingdom; Angeles City,
Cebu City, Ermita and Makati in Manila in the Philippines; Hatyai,
