Copthorne Hotel Dubai has undergone a major refurbishment, upgrading its guest rooms, swimming pool, gym, restaurants, public spaces and technology.

The hotel has also added new meeting facilities giving it state-of-the-art conference and training space as well as new retail and commercial space.

Mr Alaa A. Salameh, General Manager, Copthorne Hotel Dubai, said, “We have upgraded our facilities top-to-bottom. The make-over was carried out in stages as the hotel is consistently busy. Keeping the property open all year round meant that the rooms had to be done without causing any inconvenience to our guests. The biggest task was to expand our meeting facilities adding a beautiful ballroom, four meeting rooms, a boardroom, three breakout rooms and an outdoor event space.”

In addition to camouflaging the jaded features, the rooms were given refined new materials and the latest in technology including high speed wireless internet connections.

“These days internet connectivity is extremely vital for travelers, and at the Copthorne Hotel Dubai our objective is to provide the very best in technology at par with international levels,” said Mr Salameh.

A lot of the project was carried out by reinventing existing materials rather than discarding them altogether. However, the recreation facilities were completely rehabilitated as were the restaurants. Part of the plan is also a new Indian restaurant is expected to be ready in the near future.
