Bryce Seator has been appointed as the new
Director of Rooms at the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Ming city in
Vietnam.
Seator arrives in Vietnam off a six-year stint
at the Hayman Island resort on the Great Barrier Reef in
Australia. During his time at Hayman Island, Seator was elevated
through the ranks from Event Services Manager, to Front Office
Manager to Acting Director of Rooms.
No stranger to historic properties, 30-year-old
Seators hospitality career began in front office and food and
beverage operations at heritage-listed hotels the Sofitel Sydney
Wentworth and the Duxton Hotel Melbourne.
Educated
in Hotel Management at the prestigious International Hotel and
Tourism Training Institute (IHTTI) in Lucerne, Switzerland, and
the Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) in New
Zealand, Seator also holds a certificate in Basic Civil Defense
and Firefighting.
The 335-room Caravelle Hotel,
located in downtown Ho Chi Minh, is one of Vietnams most
recognizable five-star properties. Known for its role as a
journalist haven during the Vietnam War and more recently, for its
achievements as one of the countrys leading environment-friendly
properties.
Seator replaces the Caravelles
outgoing EAM-Rooms, Linton Borthwick.
