The Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park, formerly
the Pan Pacific Bangkok, has earned EarthCheck’s Bronze award for
its environmental practices.
EarthCheck operates one of the world’s
most scientifically rigorous benchmarking programs, and measures
key indicators such as energy and water consumption, total waste
production, and community commitment.
Benchmarking involves submitting a year’s worth
of operational data to EarthCheck, and this is in turn compared
with industry data collected from more than 1200 organizations in
over 65 countries.
“We are delighted to have achieved the Bronze
recognition. An enormous cooperation between the management and
our staff to fulfill our commitment and responsibility toward
sustainable envi, ronment resulted in the implementation of more
efficient practices for integrated environmental management in our
hotel” said Mark Winterton, General Manager Crowne Plaza Bangkok
Lumpini Park.
The Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park rated at or
above Best Practice levels for Water Savings Rating, Waste
Recycling Rating, Paper Products Rating and Pesticide Products
