LAN Peru is increasing its number of weekly
flights to Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Beginning 3 November 2012, LAN Peru will raise the number of
weekly Lima-New York flights from seven to eleven.
Due to increased travel between South America
and the US, the airline has also increased the number of weekly
flights on its Miami-Lima route. This route will now include three
flights on Sunday, Monday and Friday, and two flights on Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
“With this increase in
the number of flights, we seek to improve connectivity between
Peru and the US. We are convinced they will positively impact both
the tourism and business sectors in Peru,” said Manuel Van Oordt,
LAN Peru’s General Manager for Sales and Marketing.
Earlier this month the number of flights on
the Lima-LAX route was increased from 10 to 13 per week. Lima-San
Francisco flights were also increased to four per week on 4 October
2012.
LAN Peru currently flies to 23 international
destinations.
