The Chief Concierge at The Luxe Manor in Hong
Kong, Mr Terence Yip, has been honoured with the Golden Key Award
– the highest accolade the international travel industry can
bestow to a concierge.
Presented by The Society of The Golden Keys of
Hong Kong, the award is the validation Mr Yip has received in
recognition of the distinguished service for which he is renowned
during the last 2 years.
A 24-year veteran of the travel industry, Mr Yip
joined The Luxe Manor in March 2010 as Concierge Manager advancing
to become Chief Concierge in March 2011.
Prior to moving to the hotel, he worked at the
Harbour Grand Kowloon (formerly Harbour Plaza Hong Kong) and the
Four Seasons Hong Kong as a Guest Supervisor and as Duty Manager
at The Venetian Macau.

Established in 1929, The Society of the Golden
Keys is headquartered at the “Union Internationale des Concierges
Hotels” in France and now has over 3,000 members covering some 50
countries worldwide. Membership is open to any Concierge of at
least five years’ experience in a hotel of good standing and be
proposed and seconded by two active members of the association.
