Dalip Singh has been appointed as Senior Vice
President and head of the hotels and resorts division at KOP
Hospitality.
As owners and operator of hotels, resorts
and yachts under the Franklyn Hotels, Montigo Resorts, and Aqua
Voyage brands, Dalip will be responsible for operations and the
divisions growth strategy.
Based in Singapore, Dalip will report to Cecilia
Tan, Managing Director of KOP Properties.
Prior to his new appointment, Dalip was Vice
President, Operations and was responsible for setting up
operations standards for Aqua Voyage and the pre-opening of the
companys flagship resort, Montigo Resorts Nongsa.
Before
joining KOP, Dalip was most recently General Manager of the Pangkor Laut Resort, in Malaysia.
Dalip also previously
held leadership positions in luxury properties such as the
Shangri-La and Grand Hyatt in Singapore, Dusit Residences Dubai
Marina as General Manager, and the 608-room The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore as Executive
Assistant Manage.
While with The Ritz-Carlton, Dalip was in the groups Rooms
Division Advisory Board representing hotels in Singapore,
Malaysia, Indonesia. He has also lent his expertise in the
pre-opening of the Bvlgari Resort in Bali and The Ritz-Carlton
hotel in Beijing, Financial Street.
