Frasers Hospitality is now offering its
residents a choice of 17 pillows with different levels of support
and fillings - such as buckwheat, cassia seeds, air beads and
water.
Some of the pillows have been designed to
address issues such as snoring, insomnia, fatigue and congestion.
Complementing the quality Simmons mattresses
that are available at all properties, the pillow selections can be
made upon booking or check-in.
“One of the greatest comforts of being at home
is to get a good night’s sleep, which can sometimes be elusive
when you are travelling. Offering our residents the comfort and
care that they would find in their own homes, right down to a
choice of pillows is our way of enhancing their stay and making
coming home to Frasers even more pleasurable and memorable,” said
Mr Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Hospitality
Pte Ltd.
Frasers’ ergonomically designed pillows for
expectant mothers include the Maternity, which is made of dense
foam to provide added support for pregnant women who sleep on
their side, and the 5-Foot Body Cushion, which helps to align the
spine for better sleeping posture to reduce neck back and joint
pain. This is also ideal for those recovering from
surgery.
There are also pillows for children, specially
designed to cater to their smaller head-to-shoulder outline and
made with hypoallergenic materials to relieve congestion and
symptoms associated with allergies.
The adult range includes unique options like
Lullaby, a hypoallergenic pillow with embedded ultra-thin speakers
for those who enjoy being soothed to sleep by music from their MP3
player; and Swedish Memory, a heat-sensitive foam that shapes to
the body and adjusts to temperature change, keeping sleepers cool
in the summer and warm in the winter.
Residents can also try Cloud, which contains
more than 10 million air beads to keep the head cool at night and
provide firm support for the head and neck and Water Filled, a
vinyl cushion which can be filled with warm or cold water for
different firmness and support to provide instant relief from
headaches and neck pain.
For the sleeper who suffers from fatigue, the
Magnetic Therapy pillow helps relieve insomnia by stimulating
circulation to soothe tense muscles and aching joints as well as
reduce swelling, discomfort and improve skin tone.
There is also a
pillow that claims to alleviate snoring called Snore-No-More, which is
designed to elevate the chin from the chest to keep the airway
open and reduce snoring for deeper and more restful sleep.
