Malaysia Airlines recently joined the elite league of airlines to
fly one of the world’s newest, largest, and increasingly popular
aircraft, with the launch of the first non-stop Airbus A380
service between London Heathrow and KL International Airport
(KLIA).
The second A380 of Malaysia’s national carrier,
featured in the two videos below, was a leading star at the
Farnborough International Air Show, taking place in England from
9-15 July 2012. The aircraft participated in the daily aerial show
and static display for on-board visits throughout the event.
In this HD video of the interior of the Malaysia
Airlines Airbus A380 you will see the First Class cabin which is
located at the front of the lower deck, the main Economy Class
cabin which is also on the lower deck - although there are quite a
few economy class seats towards the back of the upper deck as
well, plus the impressive Business Class which is at the front of
the Upper Deck.
This particular aircraft will join commercial service from 14
August and will be used together with the first aircraft to
operate daily non-stop A380 service between London Heathrow and
KLIA.
The A380 has a capacity of 494 seats, comprising
350 economy and 8 fully flat first-class seats on the main (lower)
deck, together with 66 fully-flat business-class and 70 economy
seats on the upper deck.
Malaysia Airlines will join oneworld by late
2012, becoming only the second carrier in the alliance to operate
the A380.
