Malaysia Airlines has launched a 50% discount promotion for its
Enrich Frequent Flyer Programme members worldwide to enjoy a
bonanza of redemption tickets to their favourite destinations at
only half the normal Enrich miles.
The redemption promotion will run until 31
December 2012, and is part of Malaysia Airlines’ “40 years of
Malaysian Hospitality” celebrations.
Enrich members who do not have sufficient
accrued mileage points for redeeming air tickets, now have a
greater chance to obtain them through this promotion.
For
instance, redemption of a return economy class flight to one of
the favourite destinations like Denpasar/Bali which required
30,000 Enrich miles can now be redeemed for only 15,000 Enrich
miles during this promotion.
This Enrich miles redemption promotion is valid
for travel from 1 February to 30 June 2013 on all routes in the
international and Malaysian domestic networks of Malaysia Airlines
except the routes between Kuala Lumpur and the South Asian cities
of New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Colombo,
Dhaka and Male which are for travel from 1 February till 30 April
2013.
Enrich members need only pay for the airport taxes and any
applicable surcharges for these promotional redemptions (subject
to terms and conditions).
The redemption offer has been uniquely designed
where several routes are grouped in six different international
travel zones and one Malaysian domestic zone for travel from or to
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Four of the international route grouping zones
comprise the cities served by Malaysia Airlines in ASEAN, Europe
and the US, Australia and New Zealand as well as China and Saudi
Arabia. Another zone covers the North Asian cities in Japan, Korea
and Taiwan while the South Asian zone covers cities in India,
Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Maldives.
The redemption conditions have now been relaxed
where customers can now get tickets for travel on different
classes in the same zone, like economy class from Kuala Lumpur to
Sydney and Business class for the return. Ticket redemption is
also allowed for one way and return journeys as well as open jaw
journeys.
