Thai Airways International will launch flights
between Bangkok and Sapporo, Japan, on 30 October 2012.
THAI will
operate a total of three flights per week from Bangkok to
Sapporo’s Chitose Airport, utilizing Airbus A330-300 type
aircraft.
The direct service on flight TG 670 will depart
Bangkok on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 23:45 to arrive in
Sapporo at 08:00 the next day.
The return flight, TG 671, will depart Sapporo
on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:45 and arrive in Bangkok at
16:15 on the same day.
From 30 December 2012 THAI will increase
the frequency on the route to four flights per week.
Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido province in northern
Japan, is a center of cultural, economic and local
government. Each year in February tourists from all over the world
converge for the famous Snow Festival at the Odori Park in
Sapporo, and visit other attractions that include the historic
clock tower, the governing office and the famous Suzukino shopping
district.
To celebrate the launch of flights to Sapporo,
THAI is offering Economy Class tickets
from THB 29,300 and Royal Silk Class ticket starts from THB
64,920. The prices include taxes and surcharges, which may
change subject to foreign currency exchange rate on the date of
