Didier Gourmaud Appointed GM of U Agathis Pecatu Bali

Mr. Didier Gourmaud has been appointed General Manager of the U Agathis Pecatu Bali hotel, effective 18 July 2012. 

Didier, a native of France, has a wealth of experience working in Asia, Europe and the Middle East with many established international hotel chains including InterContinental and Hilton.

He started his career in the food and beverage department and has held many positions that involved professional expertise and management skills, including executive chef, food and beverage director and executive assistant manager in charge of food and beverage.

Prior to his new assignment as the general manager of U Agathis Pecatu Bali, he was resident manager at the InterContinental in Muscat, Oman.

Rebranding

The rebranding of U Agathis Pecatu Bali will be ready to offer U’s unique services as well as the refurbished product and facilities of the U standard in October 2012.

The resort is in the heart of the Pecatu Indah Resort Complex adjacent to the New Kuta Golf Course, only 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The 190-room resort is located within a Balinese garden landscape, providing facilities and services to serve both leisure and business travellers.

Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, spa, a fully equipped fitness center, tennis court, childrens’ playground, kids’ club and library as well as an internationally designed world class golf course literally next door. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
