FCm Travel Solutions has strengthened its
European network by signing a partnership arrangement with Alive,
a travel company based in Portugal, with operations in Portugal,
Spain, Brazil and Angola.
As part of the arrangement FCm will add
two new business travel centres in Portugal to its global
operation, including one in Lisboa and another in Porto.
The Alive travel brand is an affiliate company
of OnTourism Capital Investments, which represents the corporate
and business travel branch of GeoWinds SGPS Holding.
FCms new travel teams in Portugal offer clients an end-to-end
corporate travel management service and cutting-edge travel technologies for online booking, policy compliance and expense
management. Alive also specialises in incentive travel, meetings
and incentive consulting management and group travel for sports
events.
General manager of FCms European network,
Franziskus Bumm, said the addition to FCms global network would
boost the companys local expertise and travel management
capabilities in the region.
Our new partner is
very focused on technology solutions and providing personal
service from travel teams that are highly experienced in managing
travel programs for companies of all sizes including multinational
clients. Alive offers a broad range of technology solutions for
end-to-end corporate travel management. These attributes are
highly regarded by FCm as it demonstrates both companies have
operational, service and management synergies, Franziskus said.
Alive CEO Pedro de S Barros added, This partnership offers mutual benefits for both Alive
and FCm, in that our clients will be able to tap into the global
strength of FCm, while our Portugese teams can provide a new level
of regional support to FCms existing clients that are travelling
to South Western Europe. The exposure
to FCms global trading environment will deliver new efficiencies
for our customers and were looking forward to working with FCm as
part of its global family.
