Korean Air will operate flights to St.
Petersburg, Russia, between 24 April and 29 September 2012.
The Incheon - St. Petersburg flights will
operate three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday -
utilizing Airbus 330-200 that can seat 226 passengers.
KE929 will depart Seoul/Incheon at 17:45 to arrive
in St. Petersburg at 22:20 the same day.
The return flight KE930
will depart St. Petersburg at 23:50 for an overnight flight that
arrives at Seoul/Incheon at 13:35 the next day.
A
major transport hub, St. Petersburg is referred to as “the
Northern Capital” of Russia and is known as a city of culture
and art.
The White Nights Festival is an annual international
cultural event and the city is also home to the famous Hermitage Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. Korean Air, known
for its support of arts and culture, has been sponsoring the
multimedia guide service at the museum since 2009.
By resuming the Incheon - St. Petersburg route during the summer
season, Korean Air expects to provide more options and greater
flexibility for passengers travelling to Russia and Northern
Europe.
Furthermore, Korean Air is launching a new
route to London Gatwick, its second route in London from 28 April 2012
and a new route to Kenya Nairobi, a center of tourism in Southern
central Africa from 21 June 2012. Korean Air is the first North Eastern Asian Airline to operate a direct flight to Nairobi and is
planning to expend its global network route further more. Both
Incheon – Gatwick route and Incheon – Nairobi route will operate
three times a week.
