Alaska Airlines is reducing the base commissions
paid on tickets for point of sale in Australia from 3% to 1%,
effective 1 January 2013.
All bookings sold and ticketed on or after 1
January 2013 will be affected by the commission change. Any
existing bookings must be issued prior to this date to claim
existing commission.
The airline said that no exceptions would be permitted, and ADMs will be
raised if incorrect commission is claimed on or after 1 January
2013.
