The Abidos Hotel Apartments in Dubailand became
the latest hospitality brand to start operations in Dubai.
The tower has been built by Al Shafar
General Contracting (ASGC) and has a total built up area of 27,501
square meters.
Just 15 minutes’ drive
from Dubai International Airport, Abidos Hotel Apartment enjoys
easy access from Emirates Road and Dubai - Al Ain road. The luxury
residence overlooks the prestigious Dubailand Villas on one side
and the bustling Dubai Academic City (DAC) and Zayed University
Academic City on the other. In close proximity are also some of
the area’s other popular leisure and business attractions such as
Dubai Outlet Mall, Global Village, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Wafi Mall,
Dragon Mart and the International City.
The hotel features
132 apartments offering a choice of one, two and three bedroom
units. Each apartment
boasts a living room with a private balcony, bedrooms, bathrooms and fully fitted
kitchens. Rooms with a maid’s room can be provided upon request, and
subject to availability.
A lobby with 24-hour
reception, all-day-dining restaurant MnM, state-of-the-art
gymnasium ‘Energize’, rooftop swimming pool with sauna
and steam rooms, kids play area, wireless internet in public
areas, mobile business centre and a well-appointed pool deck with
juice bar are just some of the features available to guests.

According
to available industry statistics, the emirate of Dubai has 577 hotels and
75,171 hotel apartments as well as a further 11,307 under
construction. The demand in Dubai’s hotels sector increased by
13.9% in 2010 with supply growth of 11.6%, and in
2011 demand increased 17.1% with a 11.6% supply
increase.
