More than 30,000 number bibs have been assigned
within the last two weeks for the 2013 edition of the Paris
Marathon, which will take place on 7 April 2013.
The Paris Marathon, one of the biggest in the
world, is a unique opportunity to discover this most amazing of
cities, whilst participating in one of the most exciting races
over the distance of 26 miles, 385 yards.
Around 40,000 runners, made up of around 100
different nationalities, are expected to take part in 2013. It is
estimated that almost 16,000 competitors travel from outside
France to take part in the event, making the Paris Marathon a
truly international sporting event.
The Paris Half-Marathon, scheduled for 3rd
March 2013, has enjoyed similar success, with 20,000 registrations
already received.
It is now recommended for all those who want to
run in one of the two events to register as soon as possible in
order to be sure of a place, and avoid dissappointment.
