Mom Tri’s Boathouse to Reopen as the Boathouse in October

‘Boathouse’ is the new name for the completely redesigned and renovated Mom Tri’s Boathouse, due to reopen on 1 October 2011.

The award-winning Beachfront restaurant Boathouse Wine & Grill will keep its original name.

A treasured part of the Kata Beach landscape for decades, Boathouse was recently acquired by Montara Hospitality Holdings Co., Ltd, which also owns the Trisara, Phuket.

New additions to the property include extended family suites, a 2-bedroom beachfront Penthouse suite and a rooftop Sunset Lounge. A beach club and a spa, as well as a large boutique with a gourmet café will open in November.

Marie-Laure Fleury, the new General Manager of Boathouse, is a graduate of the Lausanne Hotel School and a 20-year veteran of the hospitality business. Prior to this appointment she was Resort Manager at Trisara.
