Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Launches Suite Gourmet Promotion

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London has launched a Suite Gourmet promotion that allows guests to sample the delights of the newly opened Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, whilst staying at one of London’s premiere addresses overlooking Hyde Park.

Focusing on the revival and modernization of traditional British recipes, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is the first London restaurant for renowned British chef Heston Blumenthal who has already won international acclaim for his unique and multi-sensory approach to cooking at The Fat Duck in Bray.

The menu features simple modern dishes inspired by the UK’s gastronomic past with recipes dating as far back as the 16th century, such as Scallops with Cucumber Ketchup and Peas, Bergamot cured Mackerel Salad and Slow Cooked Short Rib of Beef.

Priced from GBP 1,750++ guests who book this limited Suite Gourmet package will be treated to:

- Accommodation for 2 in a Deluxe Park Suite
- Full English Breakfast
- A reservation for Dinner for 2 at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal with a GBP 250 credit per room. Timings for dinner will be confirmed by the reservations team on receipt of the reservation. Timings are subject to availability at either 7.45pm, 8pm or 8.15pm
- A signed Heston Blumenthal cook book, compliments of the chef

The promotion is valid from 15 February 2011, blackout dates may apply and the rate quoted is exclusive of VAT at 20% and 5% service charge, subject to availability. Reservations must be made at least 10 days prior to arrival, dinner at the restaurant must take place on the evening of the room allocation, cancellations must be made 10 days prior to arrival at which point a full charge would apply, on cancellation of the suite booking the dinner reservation will also be cancelled.
