The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa in Bali,
Indonesia, has joined Summit Hotels & Resorts.
Set in a secluded nine hectares of lush tropical
and sculpted gardens with 150 metres of white sand beachfront, the
Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa was one of the first luxury hotels to
grace Bali's southern peninsula.
Just 25 minutes from Bali Ngurah Rai
International Airport, the hotel was designed around the
architectural principles of a Balinese palace, with 382 guestrooms
and suites.
In 2010, the hotel embarked on an expansive
three-phase refurbishment program. The first phase saw the
completion of 83 guestrooms, the spa, the main pool and a
restaurant. The second phase, to be completed by mid 2011, will
include 162 guestrooms. The final phase will be unveiled at the
end of 2011.
The resort boasts a wide range of facilities,
including three swimming pools, five restaurants and three bars,
as well as a comprehensive sports center, watersports facilities,
daily activity schedule, and a shopping arcade.
Seven banqueting
venues – including an open-air amphitheater and the beachfront –
can cater for up to 1,000 persons for both MICE events and
weddings.
Families will find the resort child-friendly
with a kids' club, games room, outdoor playground, and children's
pool as well as a dedicated family room.
The Nusa Dua Spa has also been
completely rebuilt with 22 new treatments utilizing the island's
local and natural ingredients.
"We are thrilled to have
representation under our Summit brand for the first time in Bali,
which is a very well-established and hugely popular global
destination for the leisure and MICE markets," said Mark Simmons,
area managing director, Asia of Preferred Hotel Group. "Nusa Dua
Beach Hotel & Spa, with its reputation, quality, and location in
the prime Nusa Dua area, will be very well received by our clients
worldwide."
