EgyptAir is almost doubling its flights to
Libya.
Starting 7 December 2011 the airline will
operate double daily flights to Tripoli and from 8 December 2011 a
daily flight to Ben Ghazi.
Eng Hussein Massoud, EgyptAir Holding
Chairman & CEO said, “We expected the increase in operation after
the decree of resuming flights to Libya last November, this is in
addition to the increase in load factor on these routes, the
matter which pushed us to increase the flights as a support to the
links between Egypt and Libya.”
Capt Ayman Nasr, EgyptAir Airlines
Chairman & CEO, said, “The national company doesn’t save any
efforts that yield benefits to the national economy or that can
meet the customers’ expectations, especially that Egypt and Libya
currently face similar conditions. This requires the national
entities in both countries to exert more efforts and to take more
positive decisions for the best of the two nations.”
