Starting tomorrow, 6 January 2011, Finnair will
operate seven direct return flights per week to Delhi.
"Growth is excellent in our main strategy area,
namely Asia-Europe traffic. We have gradually increased flights to
a number of Asian destinations, the latest being Delhi," said
Finnair's Senior Vice President Commercial Division Mika Perho.
At the end of 2010, Finnair also increased the
number of direct flights to Osaka, Nagoya and Seoul.
A new destination, Singapore, will open in May,
and in June Finnair will increase the number of flights to Hong
Kong.
Next summer, Finnair will fly a record number of
74 flights per week to 10 Asian cities.
