first property in Macau.
Banyan Tree Macau will comprise a total
of 246 suites with in-room relaxation pools overlooking the
skyline, all starting at over 90 square meters. Ten pool villas
that appear to be floating on water, located on Galaxy Macaus
highly anticipated beach resort deck, will be waited on by Resort
Hosts. Eight specially designed, fully air-conditioned cabanas
with sliding glass doors open directly to the ultra-luxurious
Banyan Tree pool.
The first and only Banyan Tree Spa in Macau will
cover more than 2,800 square meters and 21 treatment rooms,
providing a complete sensory experience steeped in holistic Asian
healing traditions and therapies.
Dining highlights include Belon
Oyster Bar & Grill as well as Banyan Trees destination
dining, which enables guests to enjoy Banyan Tree
cuisine in a variety of intimate, romantic settings that take
advantage of the propertys features and natural surroundings.
Mr. James Chow, Director of Sales & Marketing, Banyan Tree Macau,
said, At the Banyan Tree Macau, people will be able to enjoy a
completely unique sanctuary in the middle of the Cotai
entertainment district, with Galaxy Macaus incredible rooftop
white-sand beach and wave pool as the backdrop. Because these
unforgettable features are located within an urban environment, it
creates an absolutely unique Banyan Tree property, and a
convenient and unforgettable weekend getaway for visitors to the
city that cant be found anywhere else in Asia or the world.
The 550,000-square-meter Galaxy Macau is scheduled to open in
early 2011 as the newest integrated destination resort in the
Special Administrative Regions Cotai entertainment area. With an
investment of HK$14.9 billion, Galaxy Macau will feature a resort
deck with a 4,000-square-meter man-made beach: 350 tons of white
sand deposited along a 150-meter-long shoreline, framing one of the
worlds largest rooftop wave pools, with waves reaching as high as
1.5 meters. It will also host one of the largest selections of
Pan-Asian cuisine in Macau, including a wide range of Chinese
ethnic cuisines, as well as vibrant bars, nightclubs and a retail
boulevard.
