Design Hotels has entered into strategic
partnerships with six technology partners, all industry leaders in
their fields: Sabre Hospitality Solutions; IdeaS; Travelclick;
Micros Fidelio; Lanyon and Nexus.
“Parallel to building a strong consumer brand
and community for design, architecture and culture enthusiasts,
Design Hotels continues to expand its service portfolio for its
member hotels. Our goal is to create long-term value for our
hotels. Integrated distribution and automated revenue management
solutions are key to our hotels’ competitive strategy. As in our
other business areas we’ve taken a holistic approach to revenue
management and distribution by combining technology with
consultancy services tailored to each of our hotels’ needs. We
help our hotels optimize their financial performance and want to
become an increasingly valued partner in the process,” said Claus
Sendlinger, founder & CEO of Design Hotels.
At the core of the enhanced technology portfolio
is a renewed long-term partnership with Sabre Hospitality
Solutions. Its central reservation system (SynXis) provides
members of Design Hotels the possibility to fully maximize online,
mobile and offline global reach.
Design Hotels has teamed up the revenue
management specialist, IDeaS, to provide its members with
privileged access and commercial terms with the IDeaS automated
solution. Alongside the solution Design Hotels provides integrated
revenue management consulting services. Furthermore, the company’s
new platinum partnership with business intelligence provider
Travelclick will boost decision support to the hotels.
The company has also strengthened its
relationship with Micros Fidelio. Existing and new members hotels
using Micros solutions will be able to leverage a preferred Micros
front office PMS and technical integration agreement.
Content management company Lanyon, has been
chosen to provide Design Hotels with its content publishing tools,
automating otherwise manual processes that will enable Design
Hotels and its member hotels to effortlessly publish rich content
to multiple online and offline distribution channels.
Nexus will continue to provide Design Hotels
with their RFPworX and ShareworX technologies to manage and
process corporate and leisure RFP’s.
Toby March, Vice President Sales, Revenue &
Distribution at Design Hotels, said, “Our investment in
technology, system integration and partnerships with industry
leaders takes our distribution and revenue management capability
to a new level. We are enabling our member hotels more creative
and effective ways to reach out to travelers. However it’s not
just about technology alone, as technology will only do what
people purpose it to do. We want our hotels to be successful and
it’s as much about building a revenue management culture within
the hotel. We have added to our range of consulting services and
training at all stages of business, from opening support and
revenue optimization to taking a multi-channel management approach
and developing the sales mix. Our team of experienced
professionals takes a simple 360 degree approach to provide
personalized training and support to our members.”
