eRevMax, an online channel management technology
provider, has developed new room distribution and pricing
automation features into its product lines.
With the availability of Allocation Management
and AutoRTSE hoteliers can now save additional time by further
automating and optimizing revenue strategies.
Separately or combined both applications allow
for fully automated inventory management and rate calculation
across over 700 connected websites based on channel performance.
Allocation Management completely automates room
distribution of available inventory across selected websites by
adhering to pre-configured rules and threshold values.
Available
inventory is updated based on confirmed reservations, and all
reservations captured during this process can be reported to
connected property management systems (PMS) to eliminate manual
data entry.
AutoRTSE on the other hand provides the
ability to automatically calculate rates based on real-time
competitor pricing data, hotel occupancy levels and other
pre-defined parameters. Once determined, the hotelier has the
ability to let the system automatically distribute those rates to
configured websites or publish them through the traditional
channel manager following a manual review.
Both,
Allocation Management and AutoRTSE combined provide for an almost
hands-off channel management system that will also warn hoteliers
about rate changes or availability problems to improve production
across low commission websites and to maximise bookings from top
producers when required.
Allocation Management
function automates the process of room distribution by adhering to
pre-configured rules and threshold values based on confirmed
reservations. Drawing rooms from the hotel’s Allocation Pool, it
automatically redistributes inventory across the chosen channels
so hotels can increase revenue from the most effective websites.
It simplifies the distribution of current
available rooms by splitting inventory between various OTAs based
on a preset percentage formula decided by the property. It reduces
the risk of overbooking and helps to sell last-room availability.
