Thai Airways International resumed flights
to Samui on Wednesday, after the airport was closed as a result of heavy rain
and flooding. The airline operated three flights to Samui today
and transported around 600 passengers who were stranded on the
island.
Bangkok to Samui
- TG281, original departure time of 0705 hours
and arrival time in Samui at 0850 hours departed Bangkok at 1309 hours
to arrive in Samui at 1445 hours
- TG2811 (special flight), departed Bangkok
at 1409 hours to arrive in Samui at 1525 hours
- TG287, departing Bangkok at 1600 hours to arrive in Samui at 1705 hours
Samui to Bangkok
- TG282, original departure time of 0930 hours and
arrival time in Bangkok at 1035 hours departed
Samui at 1530 hours to arrive in Bangkok at 1620
hours
- TG2821 (special flight), departed Samui at
1545 hours to arrive in Bangkok at 1650 hours
- TG288 departed 1745 hours to arrive in Bangkok at 1850 hours.

Operates 19 flights to Samui
Bangkok Airways operated 19 flights in total on
Wednesday for routing between Samui - Bangkok.
These flights are expected to carry around 2,000
passengers out of Samui Airport as the weather is starting to
clear.

flights in total between Samui – Bangkok, which it believes this
will clear all stranded passengers within the day.
Bangkok Airways operates totally 56 flights
in-out of Samui including Bangkok-Samui, Chiang Mai-Samui,
Phuket-Samui, Krabi-Samui, U- Tapao-Samui, Hong Kong-Samui and
Singapore-Samui.
